Tourist Visa

Prove that you meet the requirements to enter Canada. Most travelers need a tourism visa to travel to Canada. You may also need it if you are passing through a Canadian airport on your way to your final destination. 

How long can you stay?

• Most visitors can stay up to 6 months in Canada.. 

At the port of entry, the border services officer may allow you to stay for less or more than 6 months.

If so, they will put the date you must leave on your passport. They may also provide you with a document, called visitor record, which will show the date you need to leave by.
