IRELAND
APPLY FOR YOUR VISA
The visa requirement to enter Ireland depends on your citizenship:
If you are a citizen of a Member State of the European Economic Area (EEA) (consisting of the 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein) or other countries such as the UK, USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, you do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
If you are not a citizen of the UK, Switzerland, or a country in the European Economic Area, you may need to apply for a visa. An Irish visa is a certificate placed on your passport or travel document that allows you to travel to Ireland. You still need to present your passport and documents at immigration control when you arrive at the airport or port, and an immigration officer may still refuse entry into Ireland. If you are travelling with children, you must also apply for a visa for your children.
Since 25 February 2022, citizens of Ukraine do not need a visa to travel to Ireland.
