Italian and European Union citizens need to apply for a visa for the purposes of tourism, private visit, business and transit. It is necessary to have the Passport valid for at least six months and the details of the travel itinerary. Since the end of February 2022 Italy has closed its airspace to Russian airlines and in response Russia has done the same. Consequently, it is necessary to organize trips with alternative routes to enter the country.

Tourism Visa

Italian citizens and foreign citizens legally resident in Italy, to travel for tourism in the Russian Federation must apply for this type of visa.

In this case you will need to have:

• Completed form in its entirety and signed (we provide it in the agency)
• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Permit or Residence Card (foreign national)
• Visa Voucher Support issued by the Russian authorities (hotel reservation)
• Recent photo card 3,5x4,5 cm with white background
• Medical insurance with a maximum of not less than € 30,000 covering the entire travel period

The visa can be with single or double entry, with a maximum validity of 30 days of continuous stay and is issued with standard procedure (about ten working days) or fast (about three working days).

Private Visit Visa

Italian citizens and foreign citizens legally resident in Italy, to travel for the purpose of private examination in the Russian Federation must apply for this type of visa.

In this case you will need to have:

• Completed form in its entirety and signed (we provide it in the agency)
• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• Permit or Residence Card (foreign national)
• Invitation issued by the authorities of the Russian city in which the person you intend to visit
• Recent photo card 3,5x4,5 cm with white background
• Medical insurance with a maximum of not less than € 30,000 covering the entire travel period

The visa can be with single or double entry, with a maximum validity of 90 days of continuous stay and is issued with standard procedure (about ten working days) or fast (about three working days).

Business Visa

Italian citizens and foreign citizens legally resident in Italy, to travel for business purposes to the Russian Federation must apply for this type of visa.

In this case you will need to have:

• Completed form in its entirety and signed (we provide it in the agency).
• Passport valid for at least 6 months.
• Permit or Residence Card (foreign national).
• Recent photo card 3,5x4,5 cm with white background.
• Invitation from the business customer in Russia issued in the Telex format (and provided directly by the client to the Consulate or Russian Embassy in Italy) or issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia
• Medical insurance with a maximum of not less than € 30,000 covering the entire travel period.

The visa can be with single or double entry, with a maximum validity of 90 days of continuous stay and is issued with standard procedure (about ten working days) or fast (about three working days).
