Italian citizens do not need to apply for a visa to travel to the United Arab Emirates for tourism. You must have your passport valid for at least six months.

Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, People's Republic of China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, Honduras, Ireland, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Principality of Monaco, Montenegro, Nauru, New Zealand, Norway, Netherlands, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Spain, United States of America, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, Hungary, Uruguay.

Anyone who is not on this list, or who has to travel for reasons other than traditional tourism, must apply for a visa approved by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE.
